We are members of the REAL assurance scheme and we operate under their code of practice.
It helps companies provide high standards of service to consumers. The scheme is governed by specific by-laws which members must undertake to abide by. The Consumer Code is the centrepiece of the scheme, and is aimed at all those companies that have contact with domestic consumers. Wherever appropriate, the Code must be used in conjunction with the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) which is an important quality assurance mechanism that sets out both:
- installer accreditation standards for installers of micro heat and power generators;
- product accreditation standards for micro heat and power generation suitable for domestic use.
